I used to have a Windows machine and was able to use a shortcut way of inserting a lengthy piece of text into a document. I cannot find how to do that in Word 2008

The 2004 version of word had fat word art choices. How do I get those fat word art choices in 2008? I want to fill word art message with a picture.

For some reason, I can not remove the white space between pages, when I scroll down when using word on my MAC. I can do this on my PC, but not my Mac Anyone have any ideas?

i have some documents that i have on my work computer that is in word and i
cant open it on my computer at home because i have vista what can i do to
work on these documents in works.

If I have a document open in Draft view or Print Layout and I decide to go
to Publishing Layout View I get a dialogue:
"Would you like to create a new document in Publishing Layout View?"
I can "Create New" or "Continue".

I'm wondering a bit about those hard-wired word style names.

I am trying to insert a 3 page pdf document into a 2004 Word for Mac doc. If I insert as a picture or drag and drop, I can only see the last page of the pdf in my Word doc.

In Office 2007 Word (PC) one can change a documents' margins by dragging in
the equivalent of a preview mode.
Is there an equivalent in Office for Mac 2008?
Changing in print settings is no where near as flexible.
