I was customizine the standard toolbar today and noticed that there
isn't a way to flag an item as a start of a group as was done in X &
2004.  I always did it with a right- or control-click on the item to
select properties, but that doesn't work in 08.

I cannot figure this out and frankly I am getting really annoyed with Word because I have to change the preferences each time! Help?

My dictionary is faulty or not working.....
when typing in a new document the spell check does not work at all....
But if i copy text into a word document for a web site or other, it works fine...
it also tell me it does not recognize the language of the text and prompts me to ...

When depressing the scroll arrow, the scroll in Word 2008 accelerates rapidly and flies through the document. Any ideas on how I can get a uniform/reasonable scroll speed? I can use the scroll button on the top of my mouse, but I'm in the habit of using the up/down arrows.
