I have a document which will not print on an HP Laserjet 3800.  I get
an error message printout of:
ERROR:  limitcheck
OFFENDING COMMAND:  image.

Hi I am using office Mac 2008 and would like to know if it is possible to change the dictionary and thereby the way Word spell checks from an American spelling to a UK English spelling? thanks greatly for your help.

I've been quite enjoying using Office 2008. I'm wondering if I am not
seeing something obvious. I usually write in what used to be called
"Normal" view and now of course is "Draft" view. I liked to use the "Header
and Footer Pane" rather than having Word switch to "Print Layout" ...

I'm using a generic template that comes with word for a brochure. The headings are fixed and I cant seem to change by clicking over the text or going through insert-autotext-headers.
Its as if there is a master page its linked to (is this the case and where do i change this?) I ...

I understand the purpose of the circles. When clicked the highlight the entire line of text. However I don't and won't use this feature and I cannot figure out how to disable it.
I find the moving circles very distracting! Does anyone know how to turn off this feature?

I need to copy the comments in my documents and paste them into a new document. I provide the formatted comments to clients in this way. I can select 1 comment at a time (very time consuming) and cut and paste, but I can't cut and paste the whole list. Any suggestions?

Insert a caption. In the popup enter your caption text. As part of the text insert a perfectly reasonable '/' character - the help window pops up.

I have a client who has Word 2004.
I have the 2008 version and am trying to import her letterhead (created in InDesign) into Word so that she can drop copy from Word onto the page to email to clients…I am having the worst time getting it to work.

I would like to know if one can change the default file format. I would like to consistently use the older version .doc for my documents as this is still the more popular version of Word Available.

In Office 2008 Word, when I hit the return bar, it returns two lines. Yes, I can hold shift and only go down one line, but how do I make return by default go down only one line?
Finally, is MBU working on the speed of Office 2008? It seems unfinished. My 2.4 GHZ iMac with 3 GB of ...

I'm in Print Layout and I have no vertical scrolls bars. Can't figure out where they went or how to get them back.

The first time I tried to edit my custom dictionary (I had
accidentally entered a misspelled word) in Word 2008, the Edit button
was available, but I was unable to click in and actually edit the list
of words that came up. I temporarily gave up and resumed my spellcheck

Is there any way to change the color of non-printing characters? They show up as a relatively bright blue and I'd like to make them a dim gray.
