When I open up Word 2004 and go into 'File' to open a new blank document the only option I have is to open a 'New Blank Notebook Document'. How do I change this so that the default position is a 'New Blank Document' and it opens in Normal view? I'm using Microsoft Office 2004 ...

For several months we have been creating Word X for Macs. We have been emailing the docs to a distribution list with no problems. Last week the file ended up as a .dat in everyone's email. No one could open it Any solutions out there?

I've come across a small problem with Word for Mac 2008. I'm a great fan of the Scrapbook and after installing "2008" I deleted those default categories, in fact only leaving one which I renamed. I now want to add more categories and I find I can't :(
