My Word is in English, but i do write in French and set the default language to French Canadian, from the Tools > Language menu. I press then the Default button and Word warns me correctly that all new document based on Normal.dotm will be set to French Canadian.

Using 2008, is there an easy way to count the number of times a specific word (or phrase) occurs in a document? With 100,000 words, it's a bit of a chore to do it manually with the Find command. TIA

I am trying to print several pages of tables but every time I'm in the print menu Word freezes up on me. I don't understand why... I've printed the document only a few days ago and then everything was fine. After adding a few things it has gone crazy...

i am getting more and more of the swirling ball of death when editing a document that has about 1500 endnotes. I have tried the new normal.dot route, the removal of preference list. I am somewhat stuck. OS version is 10.5.2.
