I have created a merged directory file in Word from Excel, but cannot find out how to format the document so it prints out in a booklet format. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks

I'm preparing a manuscript with footnotes, something which I haven't
done in a long time.
Word places a 2 inch line between the body copy and the footnote. Is
there any way to change the formatting of this line. For instance,

I created a template with a header and footer. It can be moved in the document and I would like to lock it. I want the text box to be able to be used only.

I'm sure it's right in front of me, but I have combed through preferences and can't find it.
Images do not display on my pages no matter what view I select. The only time I can see images are in Print Preview and when I print, so I know they're there.
Help?

Everytime I start a new document in Word 2004/Tiger, there's text in

How do I set the default font for all sections in the current Notebook and all future Notebooks? I cannot figure out how to get Verdana to go away and stay away.

When I am dealing with a document that is larger than my window or more than one page, i do not see the scroll bars on either the right or bottom.. How do I get them to work?

I know I can in the Windows versions using the control toolbox.

I'm having the worst time with Word 08 since I upgraded from Word 04. Between the line spacing with the normal template to crazy functioning in the notebook layout to simply working with two page tables and a 1/4 of the way down it visually disappears. Almost like a page break, ...

I installed Word 2008 a couple of weeks ago. Everything was going fine. Now all of a sudden, when I try to save changes to a document, I get an error message saying "Save failed due to out of memory or disc space." Any ideas what's happening or what to do about it?
