Round issues with tables between Word 2008 for Mac and Word 2003 (Windows)02 Feb 2008 09:40 GMT4
Hi,

I have many documents that I used to edit just fine in both Word 2004 on the Mac and Word 2003 on Windows, now that I've upgraded to Word 2008 on the Mac I'm running into problems.

The documents have tables with a header row that has shading. When I open these documents
Paste Options button02 Feb 2008 09:28 GMT4
Can anyone tell me why sometimes the Paste Options button sometimes appears, and sometimes doesn't? I mean that little window that appears (albeit only sometimes) when one pastes a bit of text from one document to another, which allows you to indicate if you want the formatting to
Notebook view tab scrolling02 Feb 2008 09:17 GMT2
It would be great if you could scroll through the tabs in Notebook view when you are hovered over them. If you have many tabs, it is a pain to click on the arrows top and bottom.

It would also be nice if the vertical size of the tabs could be adjusted so you could see more of them
How to recover a renamed file02 Feb 2008 09:05 GMT3
I had a doc that I went into my folder and renamed. Then I typed something new in the doc and hit save. Is there a way to recover the text that was in the doc before I renamed it?
Question about replacing Macros in Word 2008 with Apple script02 Feb 2008 00:31 GMT3
Does anyone know of an archive or repository of Apple scripts to replace the
now defunct Word Macro capability?
Microsoft has disabled recording custom macros in Word 2008 - and I am
reluctant to go back to repeating every day tasks step by step if I don't

I start with my layout in A4, (page setup paper size) and portrait orientation, (I tried landscape, but it screws up the layout), and set it to print 2 on a page, but it only

Window location is not remembered01 Feb 2008 10:17 GMT1
I use a large file many times a day, and I don't want to leave it open. I keep it on the left one of my two screens. Word version X remembers this, but Word 2008 always opens the file at the left edge of the main screen. This is a major interruption in my work flow. Is there no way
