I haven't noticed one yet, so it's possible I've got it turned off (I'm not at my Mac, so I can't check). I liked the little dialogu box that barely appeared when you highlighted a word but that would become opque when you moused over it with basic formatting options. Does Office

word 2008 - why can't I click on a document window in a pile of them to make it active?!!!! (I am using spaces) And when I go back to word the doc I last worked on is no longer at the top. I can go to windows and recent files and select a doc and it still stays behind others.

Hi so i'm taking a class on office 2007 for windows, and i have office 2004. My prof said if fonts and such are a little different, no big deal. In this first project i have to put a picture in and make it bevel rectangle picture style. Except i cant find that anywhere in my word.

Word is not recognizing my internal microphone on my mac. I can use my microphone in ALL applications on my laptop, including powerpoint (another Microsoft application). Is there a preference or something that is not allowing Word to recognize my microphone? Is it a bug in the software

I just switched from Word 2003 for Windows to Word 2008 for Mac and the most basic of buttons - cut and paste - are missing! I can't find them in any of the available toolbars. I use them all the time. Can someone help? Thank you...

For some reason, the shortcut key for producing a hanging indent - Command+T - is not working correctly for me in Word 2008. Instead, it produces a first-line indent.
Moreover, trying to assign Command+T to another command in "Customize Keyboard" tells me that the shortcut is assigned

I haven't managed to find this anywhere, but in word with a document that I've had for a while (PhD thesis that I'm desperately trying to fix) every few minutes all the text in the document flips upside down and I can't use it anymore.

My Notebook is preset at 3 pages or 3 sections, if you will. How do I delete section 2 and section 3, so i don't print them? i have found how to delete them when i go to print but there must be an easier way when I first open a new notebook document. Is there?
