When i set my langage option on french my grammar and spelling doesn't work!

There's a message saying that the programm does't find de french file!

Does the custum dictionnary include french?

Every time I attempt to open a word document created in windows, I receive an error message that says the associated helper file does not exist. Is there something that I need to change on the settings?

Loaded Office 2008 onto my G4 desktop running OS X.5.1.
Opening programs takes forever, and once open there is a horrible lag time between text entered and its appearance on the screen.

When I try to move between spaces with a open word document I get the
formatting palette on one space and the doc in another :(

It seems that, without my changing any settings, the paragraph spacing in the notebook layout changed to 10pt. I'm able to go into other views to alter the spacing to 0pt (the default), but every time I change outline levels, it reverts to 10. Is there a way to make it 0pt by default
