Frequently when I print a document that has in the header [page] of [total pages] The [total pages] gets updated one by one, so I get page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2 ... page 49 of 49, page 50 of 50.

I had a document open and I was retyping a new version of it. I meant to hit "SAVE AS" so I could keep the old document as is and then save a new version. I accidently hit "SAVE" and now the old version is gone! I really really need to find this document before its last ...

i need help, i had a word document (blahblah.doc) saved ONLY on my usb drive, not on my computer and i was working on it when all of a sudden, a message appeared and i was forced into converting the doc.file to tmp.file (temporary file)

I can't find the disk that has Equation Editor. It's not on the install disk, and apparently I didn't install it years ago when I installed Office. Or, it got removed during some subsequent move to a new computer. Any ideas on where I can get a copy? I've been all over the Microsoft

I periodically get an unwanted line of square black dots across my page in Word 2004, and it's driving me crazy. It's not like when I type a few hyphens and Word auto-completes the entire line for me (although I would also love to turn that one off forever, too). Rather, this one

Why do my pictures that I bring into Word turn fuzzy? They print fuzzy too. The picture is fine in other programs but using it in Word it becomes fuzzy and low res looking. Please help!!!

I am typing on Microsoft 2004 for Mac. Suddenly, when I am trying to edit parts of my paper, whenever I type, the letters in front of my cursor disappear (on a PC, this would happen if you hit the "insert" key). Does anyone know how to turn off this function?
