Once you insert a section break, how do you tell Word 2008 to use different headers in each section?

Using Word for Mac in office 2008 I CAN'T SEEM TO DELETE PAGES FROM THE TEMPLATES. I CAN DELETE WHAT IS ON THE PAGES, BUT NOT THE ACTUAL PAGES. IN THE PUBLISHING SECTION THE REMOVE BUTTON IS GRAYED OUT, AND IT ONLY LETS ME DELETE THE 1ST PAGE.

I can't print cambria math characters (and equations) if there are any
transparency applied to any image or there are a .png image (with
transparency) in the document.
Even when I print, the resolution of these images decreases a lot.

changes are being saved, like default font and page margins.

I am typing an essay for my college literature class and the professor wants our name and page numbers added to each page; how do I accomplish this?I know how to insert page numbers, but can I put my last name on there with it (e.g. Jones 1)?

Spelling and Grammar in Word: 2008 is somehow disabled and in the 'spelling
and grammar' button in Preferences it's grayed out. I did notice that
PowerPoint and Entourage do have spelling and grammar enabled and accessable
for change if user requires to do so.

In Office for Windows, Reading Layout for Word gives the ability to view a document as you would an open book. I've searched in Office for Mac, did Microsoft leave this capability out of the Mac version?

When I try to open word it gives me a 'working with out word work file and memory is nearly full. save your work' then it tries to open a 'document elements.docx' and then it hangs and nothing can be done... ?????
