I am wanting to change the color of the paragraph markers and page breaks in Word 2008. Currently, they are blue and I prefer them to be black. Is there a way to make this change? Thanks for your help.

Can anyone confirm this? If so, I'd say it's a bug. Every time I use Office 2008 to open a Word .dot file I created in Office 2004 it *duplicates* the file!

I would like to use multiple styles in a single paragraph. This was possible in Word 2004. All it took was selecting a sentence or word in the paragraph and applying the style. This does not seem to work in Word 2008. Any ideas on how to accomplish this>

"Insert section break new page" creates a page AFTER the new section instead of BEFORE the new section where it is supposed to! This command should insert a page break into the document and push the remaining text to a new page that is also a new section. Instead, it creates useless

I created a resume on Word (Office Mac 2004) using my Mac and then view it using Microsoft Office 2003 on an XP and it crops the page unexpectedly on Word/XP. The margins (& Headers/Footers) are the same when I view the page setting on both my Mac and XP.

I notice that under Word 2008 the default file format is now .docx, not .doc. Can Windows users open the files seamlessly, or is it better tochange the Prefs to Save As .doc?
