In Word 2008, when using the calendar template, are the dates in the boxes supposed to auto-update when you type in the month and the year above, because it's not doing it for me and is driving me crazy trying to figure out how to make it.

Just installed Office 2008 and all the programs will open just fine except for Word. The start screen with the product key comes up then I get an error message (below). I tried re-installing but it didn't help, what do I do? Microsoft Error Reporting log version: 2.0 Error Signature:

In Word 2008, if I go to the scripts menu and click on one of the sample automator workflows, nothing happens. Except from then on everything in the scrips menu is greyed out and can't be chosen again. If I quit Word the options in the scripts menu appear again but

Whenever I enable ligatures in a document to take advantage of an opentype font featuring them, the kerning for that font seems to disappear from the document, and everything printed from it.

Hello, I have a Windows True Type font (Palatino Linotype, purchased directly from Linotype) that I use in Word. It is the same as the one that comes with Word, but I bought it to be able to use it in other programs. I just installed Leopard and now this font is not working

Does anyone else have this problem? In Word 2004, in the Table menu, there was an Insert command to add Rows or Columns to a Table. I no longer see this Insert command in Word 2008. Thanks.

I am having problems trying to print any existing docs (created from WORD 2003, 2007 and WinXP) into MAC WORD 2008. I am able see the text during edit mode. However, when I use Print Preview, it is showing me as blank. The same effect when I print the document directly.

Is it possible to apply a XML schema to a Word document using Word 2008 for Mac? In the way it can be done using the Tools>Templates and Addins option in Word for Windows? If not does anyone have any ideas on what Mac apps I can use to add a schema to a .doc or .docx file? Thank
