Paste no longer works! Neither the keyboard shortcut nor the menu
selection. These do work in other applications...also, copy works (I
can then paste to another app.)
This comes after sending my MacBook to Apple, where they reinstalled

I tried to reply in this old thread of mine from September, but it wouldn't

Now that I've had a holiday break, I've had a chance to go back and
investigate this a little more.  Have solved some of the problem, but not

Using MS Word 2004 in OS 10.4.10, I need to be able to globally remove
anchored text frames. I need to copy the text from within the frames,
insert the text back into the document and then delete the frame, over
and over. I have not found any way to simply find/replace the text

I migrated onto Leopard, Word 2007, some Word 2000 files which I
cannot print in the desired 6x9 page format.  I can create a new

I just upgraded to Leopard, and now when I open an existing word or
excel doc, the top of the file is always up underneath the toolbars
where I can't click on it. Some of my text near the top of the docs is
also obscured. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Having created a document on custom paper (24 wide x 18 high) I am hoping
that Word can scale the document across standard paper, either letter or
legal. In other words, I'd like to print sections of the document among
several sheets to be assembled with old-fashioned tape, a sort ...

Can anyone please tell why Word 2007 automatically saves your most recent
documents and can this feature be turned off?  When I attach a single file
from Word it seems to send all the recent files in word and can be viewed by
the recipient.  How can I isolate and attach one ...

My friend emailed me a word file and I got a quicktime file (which could
open in word), He says, "well that sometimes happens in cyberspace"

I am having a hard time working with Com dll with Word 2003. This is my

I was shutting down my computer and running the FileVault file remover
and I turned off my wireless keyboard and my iMac G5 realized it lost
the connection and stopped the FileVault process and now I've lost a
bunch of my personal settings, Safari wont run and I've lost a large

I just upgraded to Word 2004 (about time, right?). I was going to edit
a Word document, and so I wanted to set up how comments are
highlighted. I selected bright yellow highlight, but the only
highlighting for my comments are these barely perceptible yellow

Just lost lot of work today, can someone please let me know how this works
in Word? Any downsides? Thanks.

Where is history I can't find it. I remember seeing it on toolbar once but
don't see it anymore. Even then it was VERY difficult to use. No where near
as Elegant and simple as going back in time for different version as say,
PHOTOSHOP is.
