Every year I ask his question - I must remember to keep the answer.
The instruction to remove an item from the "Work" menu in Word is the same
as the Mac keyboard shortcut to zoom out - consequently it doesn't work.  So
how do you remove an item from 'Work'?

When I try to create a new blank document in Word it has two pages of
text that come up. I assume that what it's pulling up is a document on
my computer somewhere. I then have to delete everything to write
anything of my own. It does it when I first open word and when I'm in

I am working with office XP (word 2003), I have defined a new
paragraph style for my text. It must be constant until I choose
another style, but when I press the Enter key it change to normal
paragraph style, and I had to change that to my favorite style, How

Have lost the taskbar/menu which is on the screen when you type a letter.  
Can type the letter but am unable to print or save.  Would appreciate any
help.

Hi Iam using Microsoft Office 2004 0n a MacBook
The spell check will not work i have tryed everything. No red line will come
under the word and when i go to check the spelling it says "the spelling and

Office 2004, just installed Leopard and each time i attempt to network
print, word crashes.  Tried to pdf word document and send that to the
printer - no luck.
Any thoughts?
Can't save a word doc, says I'm overwriting an existing doc.05 Jan 2008 06:18 GMT1
When I open a document and click save I get the save dialog box. And I
click save and it asks if I want to replace the existing file with
that name. I hit replace and it says I cannot replace an open
document. How am I supposed to save my document if I can't replace it
