I sent Mac Word file to non Mac user. He can not open the file - gets message to save to disk....what do I need to do on my end so everyone can open the Mac Word docs i send?

This mat be "old hat" to some of you, but I can't find -- anywhere in
the help files for Word (Mac Office 2001) -- a solution for this.

When I want to copy the entire thing from the web (I highlighted text including photos and graphics) then using copy and pasting it in WORD, only the texts are pasted but the photos and graphics are not. What setting should I change? Thank you!

I have just noticed that I am unable to start Word 2004 from scratch

Word 2004 doesn't allow me to Add words to the custom dictionary. I opened custom dictionary, removed a word, and saved it to custom dictionary.txt. It is saved as Western Mac (Roman). The language preference under tools is English US (although some of my documents may be in English

According to Word Help, I should be able to superimpose two
characters, say O and -, by typing \o(O,-), but it doesn't happen. Can
someone help?
