Is there a way to auto-arrange documents side-by-side? Arrange All from the Window menu lays the docs top over bottom, but I want side-by-side. Thanks for your help.

What are Microsoft Shift Asserts? Since installing Office 2008 I get these each time I quit - to a variety of servers usually sqm.microsoft.com but I have seen others via Little Snitch. Couldn't see references to these when I had a quick search on Google.

New to the whole template thing, I tried to create a template with my preferred styles, headings, index, font, font size,... Works just fine... if I start a brand new document.

Hello. I'm having an issue getting the dictionary right. This may be how it is supposed to work; if so let me know. I have three main questions at the end. I have the custom dictionary set as English (UK) in preferences, however words like 'organisation' as marked as incorrect. Also

I'm getting this error message when I try to open Word documents, when certain email messages try to load, and I'll probably get it for other functions as well. I have over 20 gigs of free hard drive space, and 2gb of RAM. Any ideas?

I have been trying a conversion of a large document from doc format to docx in word 2008. The document is around 590 pages and about 18MB in size and each time I try to save it I get a file error message shown below.

Powerpoint, Excel, and Entourage all seem to launch on my iMac G5 running 10.5.1. Word is stuck in a continuing cycle of launching, crashing, and then error sending. I had previously been running Office X and deleted it as part of the installation process. Below is what I see on

In Word 2004 the running word count disappears once you pass 100,000 words. So if you're a novelist this is pretty annoying. I can't believe that, after four years of work and going Intel native, the same thing happens in Word 2008. Is there really no fix for this annoying omission
