I'm trying to paste a link to an e-mail message in a Word 2008 document. The correct URL looks like this: message://<header id>. Word insists on reformatting the URL. Any way to prevent it?

Hi, It seems that Word 2008 is still confusing with different languages, like use to do Word 2004. The latest confusion is with the new Bibliography feature. I am running my system in French but typing a file in English and when I am citing a source (website) in footnote, Word writes

I understand that Word 2008 no longer includes visual basic, which means that if I get it, all my macros will go away. I rely heavily on them for processing large documents (converting footnote types, removing hyperlinks, and some other stuff).

Hey all, I am trying to get one of the SmartArt graphics into a word document. I click on hierarchy from the toolbar and see the selection I want below it (one of the hierarchy graphics), but when I click on it, it does nothing. I looked in Help and it said to type the words I want

This does not work even though Microsoft claims it does. set screen updating to false (Do something) set screen updating to true "screen updating" is unavailable. Anyone know what is wrong?

I am trying to paste a link to some cells into a Word doc from a separate Excel File. In Excel, I do Edit -Copy. Then in Word, I do Edit - Paste Special - Paste Link - Excel Object; however, when I do this only a few columns show up...instead of the several columns I had highlighted

I'm using Word in Microsoft Office 2004 on OS 10.4.11 to create a book PDF for a printer. The author has given me chapters as separate documents that I need to edit and format. I am copying and pasting these into my book document and using "Section Break (Next Page)" to create headers

I was trying to customise the Word 2008 toolbar to position the formatting palette on the right. As far as I can see there is no flexible space available. Is this the case?
