Spell check thinks everyhing is correct because the dictionary it
references says custom dictionary and it is empty.  Is there somehwere
I can download a dictionary or is there one someone where on my
computer and I just need to reestablish the path?

Leopard prints text and iphoto and web pages but will not print word
documents the only clue is a limited border response in preview but
the document doesn't show or print but the printer connectivity is
secure

When I right-click on a spelling error I used to see "add" in the list of
options; it is now "Greyed-out".  How do I change it back to active mode?

I am trying to figure out how to insert cross-references in a document
in Mac Word 2004. According to the Word Help function, under the
header "Creating a Cross Reference," Step Two is "On the Insert Menu
click Cross Reference."

When I installed office 2004 on my mac I chose the custom installation
by accident. and now, when i want to record audio, while using word i
can't find the audio recording button. In case I did install, where
might it be? and if i didn't install it, is there a way that i can

Since updating to 11.3.8 two weeks ago Word has been applying
formatting changes to the entire document even when I select only a
specific chunk of text.  Whatever formatting change I want, Word
changes the font to whatever the font and formatting is for the first

I removed a word from custom dictionary but Word still remembers it05 Dec 2007 00:45 GMT6
I accidentally added a misspelled word to the Custom Dictionary. I've
tried editing the Custom Dictionary, deleting the Custom Dictionary,
and (per advice I read in this group) re-saving the Custom Dictionary
in "Speller Custom Dictionary" format. No matter what I try, Word
