I have a new MacBook with OSX and MS OFFICE with WORD 2004 - I'd love
to get back my old Office Assistant "Clipit" on my screen but
"Options" is grayed out and only "the box" seems available to me - any
suggestions?  I'm using, by the way, the "educator's version" of

I'm trying to create a Word document that contains hyperlinks to
folders on a Windows 2003 server. The idea is that this memo can be
sent out to employees who click on the appropriate link which then
opens up a folder on the server full of the documents they need to

Envelope macro disappeared15 Nov 2007 03:52 GMT1
I run Office XP, on an XP and Vista computer. I've used that version of Word
03 for a few years, and I know the toolbar had an icon for a macor that let
you copy an adress from a letter onto an envelope or label, then print it.
That macro has disappeared!  I've gone into Macros, ...
Overzealous "Save-as" feature15 Nov 2007 03:52 GMT3
Everytime I hit the delete key, my computer automatically opens the
save as feature, and I either have to resave or change something in
the name text box and then hit cancel. If i don't change the text in
the box and hit cancel, the Save as box will reappear. Recently, Word
MS Office programs will not open at all14 Nov 2007 21:17 GMT6
I have a MacBook Pro with Microsoft Office 2004 running on it.
I had the shortcut placed in my dock.  When I launched MS word, excel,
or powerpoint, the logos would bounce for a few seconds, show the
license, and then quit unexpectedly.  I tried this numerous times and

continued word + opentype crashes.13 Nov 2007 20:12 GMT5
I know there was some discussion on this in the past, but I was
wondering what the current state of affairs is.
I'm running a Macbook (all current on Office and OS [well, Tiger,
not Leopard]), as well as a G5 (also all current). I see the
Greyed out fields in Word13 Nov 2007 17:19 GMT2
The fields in all my Word 2003 documents have suddenly decided to be always
selected. That is the title area, ToC, cross references, page nubers,
etc are all greyed out the whole time, like when you right click to
update a field and they go grey. When I convert to PDF the grey
Thesaurus Magic Trick13 Nov 2007 12:17 GMT3
Since adding Mac OS 10.5, the Thesaurus in Word 2004 doesn't perform
correctly. When the window opens that has both the dictionary and the
thesaurus, only the dictionary responds to my query. If I click on the
"carrot" or arrow next to Thesaurus, collapsing and then expanding it ...

Could you please tell me which standards of syntax Word (Office:mac)
employs for its English (UK) and English (US) grammar and spell check

where do the rules of sentence structure come from, etc.? Also where
Microsoft Office does not open on my Intel Duo13 Nov 2007 11:51 GMT1
It used to work fine (did shut down now and then but as OK) but last
