In Word 2003 under Windows it is possible to hide the header and footer in print layout view by clicking in the gap between pages to hide or show white space. Is it possible to accomplish the same thing in Word 2004?

MSFT MVPs: many folks are reporting issues printing from MS Office 2004. The main symptoms are blank pages in the print preview or quick preview / print dialog, when in fact the pages contain content. Blank pages then are printed from the printer.

In my letter I have «Date». I also have that column in my Excel database. In my database the date is formatted as November, 27, 2007, but when I merge the documents the date is shown as 11/27/2007. I don't see any way to adjust the formatting. Thanks for any help.

I am experiencing sudden and unexpected problems with Word for Mac Version 11.3.8. Basically, it does not open or save documents anymore. When I try to open or save a document Word stalls and I have to end the program. Can you please help? Thanks!

Last week I created a template (.doc) in Word 2004 (on an Intel iMac running OS X 10.4.11). Ever since, any time I open a Word document, Word seems to apply a macro. So if I open a document, close it, then re-open it I get the "this document contains macros..." message.
