My correspondent has a PC with a 2002 version of MS Office. She is
unable to open MS Word files I email from my Mac OS 10.4.10 and MS
Office X, with MS Word 10.1.7. I have no problem opening her Word
files. As a test, I did a Reply on one of her emails with a Word

If I open the Word Help window, I cannot thereafter move or close it.
It remains on top of my current document. The only way I can get rid
of it is to quit word and start over or close any open documents and
then use command W to finally close the help window. If there is a

Has anyone seen a problem with the Track Changes feature of Word
whereby it spontaneously turns itself on in parts of a document even
though this feature was not enabled? Another user also tells me they
have had a problem where Track Changes reappears in documents

I typed a letter to a principal of an elementary school and was
informed there were question marks everywhere in doc.  It was sent as
an attachment.  This has happened may times before as recipients will
reply to an email and ask what's up with all of the question marks.

This error is causing a lot of problems.
This first showed up in our PDFs on the MAC.  The problem is that these pdfs
and the .doc files they were made from were done on a PC.
I have seen this on the net and most of the time this is a problem in PPT

When I try to print from Word, I get the message "The printer has not yet
responded but the program may be able to proceed without printer information
