I recently updated my Mac G4 from OS 9.2.2 to OS X 10.4.  The new OS has
Classic 9 on it to run my old Microsoft Office 2001 Applications and
documents.  When I try to copy from one of my old documents, to paste to

I moved a couple of documents from Word in Windows xp to my new
MacBook.  The Office Mac 2004 Test Drive's Word opens those documents
correctly.  But I have installed my licensed Office:Mac v.X, 2001, and
that older version of Word does not open the documents correctly.  Is

I wonder if anyone can help. Somehow on my word (2004) application, the
usual 'copy' task has gone from my tool bar. Instead it says 'copy to
scrapbook.' I don't use scrapbook, I don't want it - how do I revert back to
being able to simply copy?

Probably a much answered question, but I am really annoyed that every
page I open in word has the button header tucked under the toolbar.  I
have to move the page down so that I can access the red, yellow, and
green buttons or see the filename.  Anyone know what I've clicked-on

When using an apostrophe in  Word, the program automatically inserts a
space.  Thus I can't use contractions or possessives.   Any
suggestions?

I believe it was since the last minor update to MS Office (to Word
v11.3.5 and Excel v11.3.6) that both programs open up a new blank
document on startup. I preferred the previous behaviour when the
application simply started without any document. I can't find any
