When sending a Word documtne to PC users from my Mac, some cannot open the attachement, getting a MIME warning. Some can open. Is it a Word version issue, i.e. an older PC version of Word. Or is it an email issue - version or type of email software. I do not get any problems

I am facing a problem with a particular Word Doc of mine. It was working fine until it suddenly stopped responding. Now whenever I open the file, the file opens in Word for Mac, and I can see the first page, but the wheelie immediately appears and Word stops responding.
