Files created on an iMac G4 pre-2002 or so look fine when opened in
Word X on my MacBook Pro (Intel).  The same file when opened in Word
2004 on the same iMac G4 where they were created displays text as
squares (unknown character?).  Images look fine in both.  Newer files

How do i setup an email merge in Word 2004. I know how to do a regular
data merge but I can't seem to figure out how to do an email merge.

I can't seem to open Word 2007 files on my Mac in Word 2004.  I have a
work around of opening them in Word in Parallels then resaving them
then opening them in Word 2004 however this process is very time
consuming.  Is there a patch of some sort so I can open them directly

Hi ... I added about 3 or 4 items to my work menu in WORD and now
(perhaps after the latest OFFICE UPDATE), the Add to Work Menu at the
top of the Work Menu list is missing. I can no longer add additional
items to this list. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?  Thanks!!!!

I want to run some code in Document_BeforePrint event for ThisDocument word

I have two word processing programs on my mac: microsoft office word and
nisus writer.
When I updated the Mac OSX then all doc files appears as Nisus files.
If they are double clicked they will open by Nisus not by word.

I have a Mac running OSX 10.4.9 and Word 2004 with the latest updates,
that is having issues saving one particular file to the server.  It
doesn't seem to have any other issues saving files to the server.

When I try to quit I get "Word cannot save changes to the global template
because it was opened with read-only access. Do you want to save the changes
in a template with a different name?"

If I select a line and make it boldface, it makes the whole document
