When I tried to save a word doc, I got an error: "The disk is full trying to write to "NAVTA15. [that's the computer hard drive]" Free some space on this drive, or save the document on another disk.

??? Upon opening any document, a ~$ (1K) version of the document appears in the folder menu. When a document is saved, the document and a ~WRL3436.tmp file appear in the folder menu. When the original document is closed the ~$ and temporary file also disappear. This just started ...

500Mhz Powerbook 10.4.10 I first noticed MS Word 2004 using excessive processor time a few days after I applied the latest iTunes and Quicktime update (7/14) and the Microsoft update 11.3.6 (7/13). Prior to that I upgraded to 10.4.10

A new feature of Office 2004 for Mac. I just installed a Lexmark W840dn (a top of the line printer) but I can't get a Word document to print. Entrourage, Excel, Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, etc.) and other common programs work fine, but not Office 2004.

The answer is probably No, but is there a way to set the preferences so that double clicking on a word does not select the space after the word. I would prefer not to have to drag across the whole word to select it without the space.
