Cannot Launch MS Word.24 Jul 2007 00:50 GMT4
For reasons which are now frustrating me beyond measure, I cannot get
MS Word to Open.  I beleive it is tied to the old OS9 system as the
two icons W &9 appear and seemingly attemp to open, only vanish or, if
the status bar says it is loading, there is no application to find

and other common programs work fine, but not Office 2004.

Want to upgrade to the latest version of Office for mac, but will it
beable to open my very old Word v. 6 documents?  Read somewhere that

been able to confirm that.  Word 6 came out in 95.  What is the most
select word without space23 Jul 2007 11:31 GMT6
The answer is probably No, but is there a way to set the preferences
so that double clicking on a word does not select the space after the
word. I would prefer not to have to drag across the whole word to
select it without the space.
