Cannot add words to dictionary when using spell check10 Jun 2007 05:33 GMT1
I use Office 2003 and Windows XP service pack 2.
Recently when using spell check in both Outlook 2003 and Word 2003 I
am unable to add a word to the dictionary.  Spell check correctly
identifies mis-spelled words and offers suggestions but the "Add to

i wrote a macro that merges a document to a new one, but the problem
is that the date n subject disappear after the merge (in the new

Found one thing in Word 2007 Ultimate Edition:
When we insert single line through "Insert tab - Shapes", we cannot apply
styles to that line as it was working previously in word 2003

I tried to create a Date of Birth Drop down list but after entering 25 days
of the month Word produced an error message saying you cannot have more than
25 items in a drop down list! How daft is that???? Any workarounds not
involving typing into fields?

The scroll function in Word has become very erratic, flipping pages
forward and back. The scroll bar is pretty much unresponsive and/or
unpredictible as are the up and down arrows. The macbook feature where

for some reason both new and reopened documents have started coming up
as black type on a gray background. I tried changing the background
color to white, using the Format menu, and also fiddled with the
background fill on the Formatting palate, but nothing seems to help. I

Excel allows you to specify the orientation of a cell, say 60 degrees.  Can
this be done in a Word table?  I am using Word 2003.  (I submitted this
question about 1/2 hour ago but can't find it. Thinking I might have done it
incorrectly, I am resubmitting.)
