I have to do a lot of proofreading and, recently, I have been getting
a lot of articles from Iran. Although I have Persian as an option in
Languages for the Mac, I cannot seem to get Word to recognize it.
Is there any way I can get to read Farsi?

What is the fastes way for finding repetition of names in a document e.g. I
have over 20,000 names in a table and need to crosscheck that each name
appeared only once

I have template in that i have added some variables by selecting it and
press Ctrl + F9, and i could able to read it from my application it went out

I'm trying to create a template for letterhead for a group I'm working with.
I've already created the letterhead in InDesign and saved it as a jpeg to
import to the Word document. But I can't figure out how to make that graphic
a background layer so then those who use the template ...

I am suddenly unable to edit pictures in Word XP after having been able to do
this easily.  Has anyone else come across this and found a solution please?
Specifics: a picture is inserted using Insert>Picture>from file but the when
I go to the format menu, there is no "Edit ...

Trying to create a layer with a graphic, then another layer on top of that
that is a letter. The graphic is a jpeg of the stationery. Can I do this?

Is it possible to create a document template that will automatically fill in

I am having this issue only in Word 2003. When I go to print, the program
takes a while, then the message "The printer has not responded.  
The default printer does not show up in the print window.
Yes the printer is set as the default printer.   I can print a test page.

When I insert a pictue in Word 7 I only get a square with nothing in it nor
can I adjust the size etc.  However if I go to print preview it is there.  Is
there something I can do to view in print layout and then be able to adjust
the size??

If I boldface one line, the whole document goes boldface, so long as a
paragraph mark is included in the line.   Anyone know how to stop this?
