I have been working on files on my desktop (G4) and on my portable
(iBook G4) using Word 2004 for Mac on both. The files require many
pronunciation symbols which I get using the Character Palette, mostly

It seems whenever I copy and paste from a web page (in FireFox) over to Word
98 (which runs in classic) the font always defaults to American Heritage. How
can I fix this?
I do not have this problem with Safari, only in FireFox.

Have a postcard doc - and in the first line is a bold small caps word
"Great" and the first letter changes to an "A". So changed the word to
"Eternal" and the same thing happened. Have used Word since v. 1.0x for the
Mac and through various incarnations on the Dark Side also. Google ...

With a column layout, how do I put vertical lines between the columns?

When i open a file the docs are in alpha order.  I'd rather they be in
date order.  Is there a way to change preferences or ? to make it
happen always??

All of the sudden, Word 2004 (Version 11.2) running on Mac OS X 10.4.10
