| Character palette and fonts | 25 Jun 2007 15:21 GMT | 5 |
I have been working on files on my desktop (G4) and on my portable (iBook G4) using Word 2004 for Mac on both. The files require many pronunciation symbols which I get using the Character Palette, mostly Latin under European Scripts. The files are in Times New Roman. When I

| Issues with MS Word 98 | 25 Jun 2007 04:10 GMT | 1 |
It seems whenever I copy and paste from a web page (in FireFox) over to Word 98 (which runs in classic) the font always defaults to American Heritage. How can I fix this? I do not have this problem with Safari, only in FireFox.

| automatic save | 23 Jun 2007 11:05 GMT | 6 |
I have just switched from MS Word for Windows to Word for Mac 2004. One important feature I don't see is the ability to have Word automatically perform a full save (not just an autorecovery type save) at a specified time interval. For example, I used to have my program

| Why does Word generate random documents on Mac desktop? | 21 Jun 2007 21:32 GMT | 1 |
I've noticed that every so often, a random word document appears on my Mac desktop. They are always named something crazy like "zc6t0jtb.doc" or "1vtuba33.doc". I can't seem to figure out why this happens or how to make it stop happening. I never open these files - I just dump them

I've gone back to some of my older posts and seen that on some topics I never gave ratings. I've given the ratings, but on those archived topics, I only see "Reply To Author". Do I press "Reply To Author" each rating, or is there a way to give all the ratings, then "reply To
