Everytime I try to change formatting, on anywhere on ANY document, MS Word makes that fomatting change to my entire document automatically. I cannot firgure out how to get this turned off! I'm not even sure how it was turned on...

I have a particular document that often opens too high up on the screen, so that the title bar is completely off-screen (not just behind toolbars). Quitting/reopening Word sometimes fixes it, but it keeps happening.

I am used to using Word 2007 where you can create a spreadsheet directly in word without having to do so outside and insert it. It is very easy, seamless and immediately. Word 2004 it is much more involved. Is there any simple way I can create spreadsheets directly

It sounds simple, but it's not. I want to go through all my documents stored in Word - throw some out, organize others in files. But there is no obvious way to do this. Can somebody please walk me through how to toss out old files stored in Word?

Not sure if this is a file permissions issue but while spell checking a doc I no longer can add words to my personal dictionary file. The "Add" button never is highlighted when a misspelled word is encountered.
