Despite setting a print range Word 2004 insists on printing the entire
document. Any ideas?

Using Word 2003 on the PC in my work place I can insert a horizontal rule
using the following instructions:
     Click where you want to insert the line.
     On the Format menu, click Borders and Shading.

how do I get Word X to oben a .html file containintg utf8 as plain text?
I always either get rendered html, am not allowed to select the file, or
have garbled characters :-(

I've been using Word for Mac for years.  All of a sudden - the
application will not start up.  An error message appears instead.
I've deleted the word.plist file.  I've also removed Word completely
and reinstalled and Word still will not start up.  All the other

I cannot open Word via the Applications folder.  I can open Word, however,
if I click on a word document Word opens.

I have created documents in Word 2003 (WinXP) on my desk top. I have
just bought an Apple and want to transfer these documents to the Mac.
On the Mac (OS X) I have Word 2004.
I have copied the files from XP to a thumb drive and then copied them

I'm creating a catalog in Word based on an Excel spreadsheet. The main
organizing field (group) repeats its value record after record. Is
there a way I can set it up so that it only displays when its value
changes?

I have opened an older word doc (verion unknown) that contains control
characters throughout. I would like to fix this so I can read the doc as
intended, but I do not know what to do. Any suggestions???

My keycodes and the black bar have been acting erratically.  For the
most part, the option-command-minus hasn't been changing the cursor
into the bar.  Periodically it does, but when I take it to the work

I was hopeing someone could perhaps assist i am currently trying to create
some comboboxes on various userform within Word but really not happening.
