I change the time for automatic saves by using the "Tool, Options, Save"
process. However, when I close down the computer, the time reverts to the
default.

When I use Tools>Envelopes I can find no way to decrease the spacing between
lines of either return or destination address. The defaulted spacing appears
to be double or triple to accommodate very large fonts. Since I normally use

So I did the transfer from my Powerbook to MacBook Pro.  I have the
license for Office 2004.  All the other application launch fine.  When
I lauched Word, it said I was in trial mode.  All the other apps have
the license number and running fine.

USPS is changing the rules on bulk mail, which it calls Standard Mail.
The bar codes made by Microsoft Word (Office X for the Mac) are no
longer accepted because they are coded wrong and because they are
placed above the address instead of below.

I would like to format an empty table with a font other than the
defauls.
When I try to format empty table cells the font size is ok but the
font stays with the default.

For months Office 2004 for Mac (I'm using a 1.83 ghz Intel Core Duo

I had trouble with Times Phoneticon safari and my font menu on all MS,
disabled it and cleaned font cache files. I ried to open again the
applictions and now they do not respond, had to force quit them. All
of them. What shoul I do?

Every time I try to make a quote sign it reverts to this: ».  I've got
smart quotes turned on and smart quotes do work on the second half of
the document, but not the first.  The document is all one section so
it's puzzling.  Hope there's an easy answer to this.

I'm writing a software in java which uses RTF as a medium to cut and
paste data into word (and others). The RTF contains pictures in
macpict (quicktime) format.
On MacOS X, with the latest version of word, the cut and paste works

Whenever I highlight a word and try to assign a hyperlink to it, the
dialog box that pops up shows a "Favorites" and "History".  The History
button is grayed out and cannot be accessed and the Favorites shows a

Hello! I am looking for a Hebrew font that is compatible in Microsoft Word
11.3 - I have Arial Hebrew in my font book but it is not compatible. And
please if you could advise on how to install the font.
