In my program(vb.net), I am inserting the value into a form field of a Word
template. Code like this:

When I open Word, then:   File/open/documents/ filename.pdf/open..     The
Convert File opens, giving me options such as, Text only, MS-Dos test, RTF,
MS Excel Worksheet.  None of these choices work. Either it creates an error
or Word opens this document as a bunch of gibberish.

have found on there end the bullet has changed symbols or the way they

I have Word 2004 for Mac version 11.3. Somehow, while typing my
manuscript, I must have done something to reset the page count which I
have formatted to show up at the top right hand corner. Now after page
183, it starts the count over with page 1 and continues on to page

I am working on a dissertation in Word 2003 that has numerous tables,
figures, and photos.  When I generate a List of Figures for each group, the
lists are numbered consecutively even though they are numbered separately
within the document.

I'm trying to change the 15 highlight colors so I can have different ranges
--- red, orange, yellow; different shades of blue, etc.
Is there any resource in the Word "package" (Mac OS X) I can edit to do
this?

I've been plagued recently with the super annoying dialogue box says
document may have macros -- to point that all new documents will have this.
I have a clean normal now.
Should I not use macros?  Is this part of it?
