Editing/deleting in Word form fields--won't let me select or edit only small sections of text.05 Apr 2007 03:36 GMT11
I've created a template lesson plan form in MS Word--it contains various
form fields, check boxes, etc.
My problem is that if I've typed into a text field, in order to delete or
edit my typing, I can only backspace and delete ONE LETTER AT A TIME!
Photos Show Borders But No Photos05 Apr 2007 02:09 GMT2
Hello again,
Another recent discovery. I have a one page document which has several
photos at the top with text below. It has been saved as a Word 2004
document ("title ....doc").
Word and addresses04 Apr 2007 19:19 GMT1
Word X no longer recognizes most of my addresses in my address book.
when I go to the window and type in a name, most of the time it does
not recognize it. I then have to open the address book from the tools
menu and insert the name.  I am running Mac OS 10.3.9 and this is a
footer text is cut off when printing04 Apr 2007 19:11 GMT1
I cannot seem to get my printer to print the entire footer.  The
bottom half of the text is missing.
Is this a printer issue or a word issue?
Wrap text around pics when  using text boxes04 Apr 2007 19:09 GMT1
I have no problem wrapping text around graphics when I enter text into
Word.  What I cannot figure out however is when i use text boxes and
try to wrap text it doesn't work.  Can this be done in Word?
toolbar problems04 Apr 2007 18:15 GMT10
Hiya.  I am newly returned to the Apple fold after too many years as a
Windows user.  I am learning my way through MacWord but have come up
against a few problems.   I am having the absolute devil of a time
keeping customized toolbars for my MacWord from just disappearing.  I

Language settings04 Apr 2007 04:43 GMT2
In Word for Windows, Word always recognizes the language in which the text
is written. (I mostly write in Dutch or English, but sometimes also in other
languages, such as German, French or Italian.) But when using another
language, I have to change the language setting manually.
Screenshot Cut Off At Right Margin04 Apr 2007 04:39 GMT1
I've done something, can't remember what. In the past when I've taken
a screen shot and dragged it into a blank Word 2004 page, it has
appeared normally, ready to print.
Lately, though, dragging leads to a quarter inch or so of the right
Using Mac Office to read docs created on new Office 200704 Apr 2007 04:22 GMT38

preserving italics when copying text from webpage to Word04 Apr 2007 04:18 GMT4
This may be slightly off-topic, but is there anyway I can preserve
italics when copying text from a webpage to Word 2004? I'm currently
just selecting text from the web page, copying, then pasting the text
into a Word document.  However, all italics get lost and it's driving
merge error message03 Apr 2007 23:09 GMT4
Hi, I'm merging a document created with Word X on my other Mac running
WIndows 2004. The merge seems to run fine using a tab-delimited text
file generated from an iData source file. Whenever I merge the form
letter with the data source, I receive the following error message:
Word 2008 - does it do right-to-left text03 Apr 2007 13:34 GMT36
Microsoft are deafening us with silence over whether Word 2008 will
[finally] do right-to-left text entry as needed for example by Arabic and
Hebrew languages.
Does anyone here know the answer?
Is there any way in Word 2004 to vertically highlight text?03 Apr 2007 10:18 GMT1
I'd like to be able to select several lines of text and place a
vertical line in the left margin to highlight them as one often
does with a colored pen when editing.
I'm translating a document which has this highlighting in the

Here's the scenario. I create an image in Photoshop at 360 ppi. When I
