is it possible to have a non printing watermark in Word2004 for Mac? i have been trying for several hours now, to no avail. So far, the only way I see it possible, is to have Drawing Objects unchecked in the preferences menu, which wont work.

In Word for Windows there was a handy tool, 'repeat last function' (F4). I cannot seem to find the Mac equivalent! Does anybody know? Thanks

In word in upper left in font field it says Copperplate BT. The plateBT part get cut off from view. This is another issue, only way to see that is to get cursor in their and move it over manually -- any ideas on how see what font you have--as the field is too short to show it all?

I use Office 2004 for the Mac. I am currently using MS Word and I must've done something because the sound when you save, when it checks spelling, etc, is gone! I know this is not a major issue but, how do I get those sounds back? Thanks.

This is a new thread because the old one got polluted. I have tried all the Print troubleshooting steps and have come to believe that there is an incompatibility between Word 2004 and OS X 10.4.9.

Please help. Using MBPro duo, MSX , just updated to version 10.1.9, and now it will not launch. I trashed and uninstalled the previous and re-installed. Get the splash screen, nothing else. I trashed the com.microsoft.Word.plist, and that did not help. Running 10.4.9

when I try to save/open files in Microsoft Word, the usual file- browser window comes up, except that in the sidebar, my user directory icon is dimmed, preventing me from accessing it with the mouse. Curiously, I can navigate inside the directory using the keyboard.
