Word X Can't suddenly can't spell09 Feb 2007 06:20 GMT3
In searching for an answer to my problem, I stumbled across a great
description of it from 2004, but no answer, so I'm going to include it
here first, then elaborate from my experience:

word repetition in Word09 Feb 2007 06:14 GMT1
My daughter is using Word 2004, v 11.2 for Mac. Writing a long paper.
She's finding some repetition of words at the ends of some pages and
the beginnings of the next pages. If she tries to erase one set, both
disappear. They duplicate both on the screen and in print.
Making images non-printing09 Feb 2007 05:30 GMT5
I have a template for printing CD stickers from Avery to use specifically on
one of their CD labels (two CDs per A4 page).
The problem is that the outline circles print out and my client does not
want this to happen. I can make both circles non-printing by putting them
Layering like Illustrator09 Feb 2007 05:17 GMT8
I am frustrated trying to make my own stationery.   I designed the
page in Illustrator.  Logo upper right - Company data next to the logo

I seem to have lost my Spell Checker in Microsoft Word 2004, running
Mac OS X (10.4.8). I can't say when it happened, but it's gone! I seem
to have the spelling dictionaries in my Proofing Tools folder, but
that's not the answer, it seems. Thanks much! Tim

I just upgraded to office 2003. When I went to a Word document with a list
of hyperlinks and clicked on one (ctrl + mouse) I got the message that I
didn't have the authority to do this. In fact, none of my hyperlinks work
now. I am the administrator and I haven't changed anything ...

Resume Wizard?08 Feb 2007 11:39 GMT2
When I used office for windows, it had a really useful resume wizard.
Does this exist in MS Word: Mac?  If so, where can I find it?  If
not,  is there any other program that has something similar?  Thanks!

Why are not ALL words marked08 Feb 2007 03:45 GMT1
I'm trying to make an index by selecting word, say "example", and
pressing SHIFT-ALT-X, and then pressing "Mark All". But somehow not
EVERY "example" is marked.
(Btw, I know "Example" is not the same as "example" etc.)

At times when I use MS Word 2004 on my MacBook the CPU usage shoots up
to 100% (even without other programs open) and then the hard drive
gets really loud.  I'm not sure what causes it, or how to stop it
(other than quitting Word, then it restarts as soon as I reopen
