appear.  This just happened within the past couple of weeks.
I have reinstalled Word X, hoping that would solve my problem, but it
did not.  Does anyone know where those palettes are stored?  Maybe if

Envelope is now full size page12 Feb 2007 05:24 GMT1
After using Office 2004 without incident for years, all of a sudden
printing an envelope brings up a full size page rather than an

had for years.  What should I do to print envelopes again?  I have

How do I get Word2004 to start up without a blank document?12 Feb 2007 00:11 GMT2
Often I just want to open a document that I've already created or
downloaded. It'd save me an extra step each time if I could get Word
2004 to just start up and not open a blank document, which I then have
to close.

Hi, I'm using Office 2004 and have all the updates installed. I'm

custom tool bar on side of screen has objects disappearing regularly11 Feb 2007 00:03 GMT1
I've placed the custom tool bar on the side of the screen so I get
more length of my pages showing.  The objects keep disappearing.  As I
pass the cursor over the blank tool bar the objects reappear and are
operable.  Is this magic or is it a fixable glitch??

change only paragraph format when changing styles10 Feb 2007 14:46 GMT2
I rely heavily on different styles for different levels of indentation
in my documents.  Some times I can have as many as 5 nested levels.  I
call these Header, level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4, and level 5.
often a paragraph in one level will have some font modifications,

I had Microsoft Office on my old computer, an E-Mac. I transferred
everything to my new Mac Powerbook and discovered that the Microsoft

it again. Is there anything I can do? Sheridan

footers and page breaks09 Feb 2007 12:08 GMT2
Please help me! I've been sitting in front of my computer for three
days trying to figure out how to get all my footers to show up (it's
not an issue of not enough space/margin at the bottom of the page). It
seems to have to do with spaces at the top of pages and page breaks
