Relatively new to Intel iMac with X 10.4.8 OS.  Old pc user, was using
Word 2000.  I have a couple of questions regarding Office 2004 for Mac:
1. Can anyone tell me if Word 2004 for Mac can be used to make a
document (such as a newsletter or brochure) and then send as an email

Has XP Professional just been updated in a way that stops it working with
Word 97?
My pc has now developed a fault where, approx 20 seconds after the Word
window has opened, it crashes with the "report this fault to MS" window

Hi, all.  I have a Powerbook G4 that has been dropped too many times.
I'm going to retire it and buy a new Macbook.
I have a full version of Office for Mac from 2004 that I bought with my
Powerbook.  It works perfectly with my Powerbook, of course.  I use
Office 2004 and .wps documents01 Jan 2007 03:44 GMT7
I recently received some wps documents that I'm told are from MicroSoft
Works.  I am using Office 2004 for Mac with the latest update.  I could
not open these documents except from the "open any document" choice and
that was all messed up with control characters, etc.  A Microsoft
