Below is a note I sent to the microsoft.public.mac.office newsgroup arising from my late discovery that VBA will not be available for Word 2008. Hopefully Matt Newburg will be around to help us with AppleScript in Word 2008 (will you Matt?).

I'm working on a document that has a custom page size of 6.75 x 9.5 inches. When I make a pdf of the file, it appears on a "standard" page size with the text at the top of the page, that is, there are extra wide margins to the sides and bottom. How do I get the pdf to play right ...

Using Panther on PPc. Imported a photo to a new Word document and wanted to move it from where it arrived. Can't find how to do it, tried the Help menu but it didn't help.

Thought everyone might be interested. Noticed in running the installer that it wrote new versions of Office, Word, PowerPoint, Entourage and a bunch of supporting files then the little components that run by so fast you can't read the names.

My Microsoft Word program has all of a sudden reverted to an earlier version and I can't find the right version. The "about Word" gives the same information as my laptop, which still has the more recent version. They both say "Microsoft Word X for Mac". But my desktop no longer

I've seen the answer to this here before. Someone please help... When I change the formatting on a paragraph (to bold, center, etc...) the change is applied to the entire document - until I hit Undo, which returns the unselected paragraphs to their previous (and desired) formatting.
