whenever I try to print - from any application on my macbook pro,
including word 2004, I print to a networked hp printer, and this
results in endless pages of garbage text at the top of each sheet of
paper, until I have to turn off the printer and cancel all print jobs -

I have a tale for text entries in Word (Not Excel).
I need to make sure that a macro finds an empy cell in a given column.
If all cells in this column are not empty, the macro should create a new row.
I can arrive to the needed  table, find a column - but I cannot find a way

I've read Word:mac and these posts, but find nothing posted like seems
to be happening. So is it unusual, and is there a fix? When I close
Word, even without a change, Normal saves. In other words, Normal
always saves, change or not. Thanks --Dave

I read with interest the thread about frequent Word crashes, and the
person who posted that she too was having the same problem, and the
suggestion she start a new thread.  I too have had frequent Word
crashes, and hadn't realized that mine too are related to cutting text,

I'm trying to download the Microsoft Word (and Excel) Readers for my
Mac mini but only find .exe files on the Microsoft download page. I was
able to download the Powerpoint Reader successfully (using Stuffit to
expand the downloaded file) and it runs in Classic mode. But I don't

I have a large body of text that I've scanned into Word. In the
original, there are sections that are in the format [group of words],
with the sections in square brackets being in italics. Is there a way
to do a find and replace where everything that appears between the

Word launches normally, and opens an empty document.  I immediately choose

This is sort of a repeat of a post of a few days ago.
I have a document using a custom (small) page size. It behaves when I'm working on it in Page View
and looking at it in Print Preview. However, when I converted the doc to pdf, the pdf page was on
standard US Letter  page size ...

I am looking for general information about how to get started typing
Russian on my mac.
I would like to know what kind of keyboard you have had good

Version I have is Macintosh Microsoft Word 4.0 from year 1995 and
there's just floppy discs in the box.

I'm running Office 2004 on a Macbook Pro 2.33 C2D with 2gigs of memory.
When I try to insert an organization chart, I get an insufficient
memory error that prevents org chart from opening properly.  After
checking Activity Monitor and attempting this after a fresh boot, I

I've used powerpoint for years, often making handouts for
presentations.  This follows the typical path of selecting print, then
choosing microsoft powerpoint from the pull down menu, selecting the
number of slides to print per page and then selecting save as a PDF
