I just upgraded to Office Mac 2004 and was hoping I could use the spell
check function. It did not work in my older version of Office Mac. When
I try to spell check in Excel I get the message "Invalid custom
dictionary." I tried help and went to my custom dictionary in Word.

I am running Word 2004 on OS X 10.4 and only experience this problem within
Word.  Other applications like Adobe, Preview, work as expected.  When I
create a document and send it to a color printer (Minolta 2350EN) all of the
black text is printed using composit black, instead of ...

a problem has happened wehre when I type new words in old documents, then the
line turns a light grey. it happens when I press enter or do anything. I've
tried everything in properties but nothing has worked. I have microsoft
office X for mac. Has anybody else encountered this ...

Am using imac desktop
running 10.4.8 ox software
what an I do with the 2 side buttons-
have investigated the preference re mouse-

I just figured out that I can use audio notes in Word Notebook template
but when I try using audio notes my system locks up (crashes) each
time. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone have this same problem?

I am new to Mac- trying to insert cursor on place where I typed mistake
but cannot - can't use mouse button either to highlight then spell
correct as used to in Microsoft/ windows.
any help much appreciated

Usually command W does it. Not here.
Help says shift and close all from file menu, but I don't see a close all
there, thanks!

I am trying to create a template to use as stationery that includes a thin
graphic vertical and horizontal line.
How can I get the graphic to automatically show up on page 2, 3, etc?

I sometimes have to translate a document by replacing the text in
the original. However, i would like to be able to view the unaltered
original while I am doing this. In Word 2003 for the PC, I can open
two copies at the same time but I have not been able to get this

Anything I produce in Word and send out comes back as being infected
with a virus.  I believe it is attached Macros that are on by default -
I do not add any Macros.  How do I get around this?  Using Office 2004

Early last year we got stuck with an ATS related problem in Word on
Intel Macs.  Evenutally this was traced to the code creating thumbnail
images disagreeing with OS X - and was fixed in an Apple update to OS X.

I am unable to use "free rotate" function to tweak a JPEG into position
after inserting it into a WORD document.
I'm using Word for Mac from Office 2004 with  Power PC Mac 10.4.8 on a
700 MHz G4.
