I am hoping someone can help me with this problem. I am working in Mac
OS X.4.8 using MS Word 2004.  I created a series of documents with one
clip-art image at the top.  The font I used was Bank Gothic.  When I
open these documents, I can see the clip-art image, but no text at all.

I want to hand our customers using MacOS 10.1 (or later) and MacOffice (X or
2004) a simple applescript, which is meant to do the following:
- start Word
- open a new document with our special template attached

I recently switched to a Mac and am having trouble printing colors on
fibrous paper (e.g., linen business stationary) on my HP all-in-one
from Microsoft Word for Mac.  The colors are not as crisp and vibrant
as when printed from my PC.  The HP website suggests increasing the ink

We have a problem with Word template path.
Template path are set via policy - User Configuration/Administrative
Templates/Office 2003/Shared Paths - but have encountered problems as this is
not set for particular users.

I have a pile of floppy disks which were created on an old Mac (I don't
know which one or which version).  I have no experience at all with the
world of Apple.  When the disks were created, I was told that they were
all just text files with a .doc extension.  I'm trying to read them ...

How can I easily add comments in the body of the text (asides: "put
example here," etc) without using the "comments" function?  I really
just want to insert a text note, perhaps in brackets, perhaps in
another font style and color, that is easily noticed and as easily

The office software crashes a lot, and does not let me save, before it

Save as is no longer an option when I click the File drop down on MS
Word 2004. However, it is available when my wife logs onto the same

I am trying to run a mail merge so that I can print labels for my
Christmas Cards with as little editing as possible. I have everyone I
need in my address book (both entourage and Address Book).
