Everytime I open a "New Document" in Word 2000,  the text from a particular
document that I saved on November 15th appears on my screen.  The problem has
existed since that date. I must highlight and delete the text from this old
document before I can procede.  

I've had to rewrite my post because the Subject line obviously was too
cryptic.
My mother needed some Christmas Cards Labels.
So I purchases Avery ink jet 8162 Labels.

When I open a new document in Word 2004, the bottom of the panel shows
up behind the Dock.

I have separated my thoughts in a word document using ten or fifteen = signs
typed in a row.
Now each row of equal signs has turned into a single straight line going
across the entire page.

The language heading has gone missing under the tools menu. I tried
