How do I find where a Word document is stored in order that I can remove it from the computer. This is something that was saved to the desktop, but apparently was stored within Word. I have gone to applications, but have not been able to find any documents.

I have a document I need to send to a colleague, but for various reasons, I need to delete the imbedded properties visible under File -> Properties. Eliminating the "Summary" info is no problem, since these fields are editable, but I'd also like to blank out the Properties ...
