Strange font problem in Word09 Sep 2006 04:54 GMT3
All my documents, old and new, display only one font: Courier.
When I change the font, there is no difference. Changing size: also no
differences.
Only when I print I see the text as meant.

Is there a way to add note to a document that aren't anchored to any
particular text? Hidden notes are fine (and, I suppose, preferable). I'd
like something more extensive than the Comments section in Properties...
field.

Is there any where online where you can get some free clip art.  The
one provided by Word doesn't work...... can get them to download, but
not appear in clip art !!!

2003), There are lines across the page that were created by hitting the dash
key 3 times and hitting enter. I cannot get the lines to delete. I have tried

Just installed Office 2004 on my G3 tower running 10.4.7. Also did the
11.2.5 update but still having serious problems with Word:

I don't use Entourage, but I've noticed that whenever I run Word,
Excel, or PowerPoint in Office 2004 (latest service pack) that the
Entourage Database Daemon starts up as well. There doesn't seem any way
to turn this off. Is this normal? And has Office 2004 always done this

I have been going nuts trying to open MSWord files created on my iBook
on PCs that use the Polish version of MSWord. To make it more
confusing, I can open files created in the Polish version of Word in
Word on my Mac. Any suggestions? Does it have something to do with Word

Hi Maybe someone can help. I recently bought a Mac book pro and loaded up my
office software. However whenever I open any Doc be it a word doc or an

Does MS Word count words differently from the rest of us? I¹m seeing an
unusual behavior when trying to get an accurate word count. If I have a
sentence that include the phrase ³...for the night² and replace ³for the²
with ³at², the total word count drops by TWO words, not one, even ...

I'm working on a big document that uses the symbol "-" a lot.
However, now I can't seem to get that symbol, instead it just comes out

Hello. Can someone help me?! I am trying to create a mail merge
document in word using an excel data source. I can open this sheet in
excel no problem. it isnt that big, its 16 columns wide by 53 rows. and
everytime i try to open it as a data source in word mail merge manager,

Every time I turn on Word (11.2; 2004) in my MacBook Pro I get a
message that says "Computer error in hidden module. Auto Exec." After I
click it off Word documents appear and the program seems to work O.K.
What does that mean and what do I do about it?
