Can anyone help me figure this out. Whenever I copy to side-by-sde charts in Excel, and then paste in Word only the left-most chart actually appears. I can see the handles around the right-most chart, but it will not display, show uo in print preview, or print. The result

The added info can be removed if i deselect in view, toolbars, standard and formating. Then close the doc and reopen it. the original doc appears. What makes this happen and how can I get rid of it?

I'm working on a one page document. I've set it up with two side borders and two columns. That's fine to a point. But, I want the bottom third of the page to revert back to a full page/no-column format while still retaining the borders.

Is it preferable to create one long file for a 30 chapter/250 page book? Or is it better to create a master document? I'd like to paginate, index, etc., before sending it to the publisher but I'm a novice user.

Can someone recommend a book which will help me assemble the book I've written which consists of one document per chapter? I'm a novice Word user, but I'd like to be able to paginate, create an index, etc., before I send my book to the publisher.

WORD WORK files have been appearing for every Word file I have opened since 11.2.6 update. But they are not resolving and disappearing when I close word. Any advice?

I'm using a heading style that uses Word's automatic numbering. It the first section of my document, I could control+click on the numbering and select "restart numbering" when I needed it to go from 1 again. But in the third section, the "restart numbering" tool has no effect.

Is there any logic in the way Word 2004 shows the reviewing toolbar when you turn Track Changes on? Just because I want to record the changes I'm making doesn't mean I want to review the changes that are there. Can Word be prevented from doing this? Does it require a macro?
