Resetting to default font when keyboard layout is changed05 Aug 2006 12:26 GMT13
In Office applications, when I am using other than default font and
then switch the keyboards during typing (e.g. from English to Slovak),
the font resets itself back to default. The same happens sometimes when
I use the Undo function.
full screen05 Aug 2006 02:36 GMT1
I am a new iMac (duo) user. In a PC when you maximize a word document,
you get the full screen. In a Mac, you only get half or less. I tried
adjusting it via the bottom right corner of the document but still no
full screen.

Is there any way in Word 2004 (with the most recent patch applied) to
control which panes are open by default when you open the formatting

formatting palette, but no matter what I do it always opens with the
versions command05 Aug 2006 00:01 GMT1
Hmmmm.. I tried to post this a few days ago, but it didn't show up. I

the file menu. I've been working on a document for about a year, and I
saved a version of the document, using the command file>versions, each

Word crashing after system problems04 Aug 2006 18:06 GMT12
I've been having some system problems, caused I think by a faulty hard
drive. I thought I 'd fixed the system (did my regular maintenance
routine, which includes repairing permissions, running Apple Disc
utility, and running Disk Warrior).  However, Word 2004 now seems to be
Address Book04 Aug 2006 16:51 GMT2

went to Tools, Address Book -- but I can't figure out what to do once

Thanks,
Opening Word Documents created on a Mac via Email04 Aug 2006 11:02 GMT3
I keep running into this problem where I have created a document in
word from my Mac, no problems, but when I send it in an email, or place
it on a jump drive and open the document on a pc, the information is
there but all over the place. Words, pictures, and tables are out of
infinite pagination (again)04 Aug 2006 10:49 GMT3
Did anyone figure out what to do about Word tripping into continuous
pagination.  I have a lot of embedded figures in text boxes, and find I
cannot edit some sections between without triggering this infinite
pagination.
big yellow lightning bolt04 Aug 2006 10:43 GMT13
Hi, I got a big yellow lightning bolt on a bright cyan background.
It's in the corner of each page of my document.  A few pages have a
small strip down the right side with lots of these little yellow
lightning bolts.
