document with embedded pictures created in word 2004(PC) not visible in Word:mac 200431 Jul 2006 13:49 GMT2
I have a document created in Word 2004 PC which contans embedded
pictures. These display well when the document is opened in word, but I
only see placeholders when I open in Word:mac.

I was using the Versions command with Word 2004 to create an archive of

I'd appreciate any pointers, links to web pages etc that give advice on

For some reason the Zoom box has disappeared off the toolbar. If I go

I'm contemplating a MacBook, but have heard Word is slown on it. Anyone
have an opinion? I'm an editor and it's the primary program I use. This
will just be my mobile unit/backup, though. Will mainly still use my

In earlier versions of Word, I was able to obtain readability
statistics without going through the recommended corrections in the
document. It seems to have disappeared in Word 2004 (11.2)-at least I
cannot find a way to turn off the corrections feature. I've gone into

My girlfriend's email has recently started converting her .doc files

I am trying to create a document that will have approximately 75 pages
not including the cover page. Each page  is 5.5x 8.5 inches. I want to
print the pages to form a booklet that will be printed commercially.
