How do I prevent the Data Merge Manager from appearing whenever I open a
particular Word file that contains hyperlinks and fields?

I¹m running Mac OS 10.3.9 with 540 mb ram, Word 2004
Word is always extremely slow in basic editing operations like scrolling,
deleting, etc.
My document is rather long (200+ pages + graphics), but I did not have this

Remember how we cried and cried and scrolled up and down to refresh a
Word doc on a second display?
I think the most recent thread was:

I've searched this groups topics on this subject and never found the
right solution my problem.

My word2004 always quit when I try to highlight a text to
delete(forward delete), cut or paste a text in word. However, backward
delete is fine. I try to put my Word2004 to Trash and reintall the

I need to make two indexes in my Word document.  Can anyone tell me how
to do it?  Right now I have one made with a concordance file, and when
I go to make another one, it adds to that  index, instead of creating a
new index.  I need to have an index for a book and also a name index

new index only shows me one place that it is in my document (the place

Just instaled Office 2004 on my new Mac, but I cant see the font look
preview like on my first mac. Can this be a glitch with the Office or
do I need to turn something on so I can see ??

I had previously created a whole heap of styles in Word using a font
called Adobe Garamond. I've since had to go back into the styles and
change this font from Adobe Garamond to just regular garamond. I had to
modify each of the individual styles to do this.
