In version 5.1a of Word, there was a command that would enable you to switch
back and forth between two documents (I think it was called ³Previous
Window²) with a single keystroke. Is there any way to do this with Word
Office 2004? The current command (Next Window) simply rotates ...

I'm sure this has been asked often before but I can't find the answer.
How do I automatically change two spaces between sentences (and not
only between sentences) to one space? I have tried Prefs>Spelling and
Grammar>Settings>Spaces req between sentences, but that doesn't seem to

We have a publishing process that involves importing content from a
Word doc into Quark.  (MS Word 11.1 on MacOS X)
Unfortunately, someone accidentally switched briefly to notebook layout
view, and now the import will no longer work. Switching back to normal

Hey everybody,
I've got the problem, that I want to sent with Word 2004 a
serial-e-mail and put mail as default. Word won't let me do this. I
have to choose Entourage. Does anybody know a work-around?

I always thought the last paragraph marker of a section "contained" the
section formatting information. However, if I have document with three
sections and format them such that the page setup in the first is portrait,
in the second it is landscape, and in the third it is portrait ...

I just noticed all my macros are no longer working (in every document)
- and I can no longer record any new ones either.
Help!
What can I do to enable macros?

I'm working on a catalog and have several people writing descriptions
using Word vX on the Mac. I need to get a list into excel of which ones
have been done. They are using style sheets to mark the titles of the
entries in a format like this:

I am running Office 2004 for Mac on an Intel MacBook Pro and I am

I'm using Word: Mac 2001 under Os9 and I'm getting frustrated by the
way my fonts display. Typically, I enter some text in Frutiger
Condensed 57Cn at 12pt and it is a tad too long to fit on one line so I
reduce it to 11pt and although the text reduces in size on the screen,

I have a document with several hundred equations in it.  When I opened
it today, the equations were all formated at pictures.  I can no longer
open them with equation editor.  Has anybody had this problem before?
Is there any way to get the "pictures" to turn back into equations?

Is there a way to keep paths from appearing opposite some of the items on
the Work menu? Likewise in the list of recently-opened files on the File
menu. Why do some items have a path attached while others do not?

I've had pretty good success making webpages in word!  Now I want to
make a version of the page that would be text only, downloadable and

I am trying to do a merge to email (Word to Entourage) and my "Merge to
